Truth can be buried, but it never stays buried. The truth of Jesus stands and it's always wrapped in love. At Christmas we celebrate truth and grace. John & Jude both tell us we are called to hold both grace and truth - never one without the other.

1. Truth keeps us grounded (2 John 1:7-9; Jude 1:3).

2. Grace keeps us gentle (1 John 4:7-12).

3. Faithfulness keeps us growing (3 John 1:11; Jude 1:20-21).

When truth and grace meet we discover forgiveness, freedom and transformation. We see it perfectly in the manger. Truth alone condemns us. Grace alone cannot save us. But together, they brought us Jesus.
